Nuclear Generations - Duo Chi
Book Summary

book1-cover

Spanning a decade from 1935 to 1945, this historical novel tells the story of the Manhattan Project through the eyes of some of its principals — Oppenheimer, Lawrence, Fermi, Groves, Roosevelt, Churchill— as they rush to build an atomic bomb before Hitler does. When it becomes apparent that the Nazi’s do not have such a weapon, many Project scientists question the wisdom of continuing the effort to build an atomic bomb. Two of them do something about it.
